Contemplatives in Action is a group of men and women who are seeking to find “God in all things.” Through the Examen Prayer of St. Ignatius Loyola we see how the Lord is working in our lives in the moments of each day.
We contemplate the word of God. "Contemplation" is the word St. Ignatius used to describe the type of prayer he recommends in that part of the Spiritual Exercises where he shows us how to grow in intimacy with our Lord. He invites us to "enter the scene" and let it reveal our Lord to us. After listening to the Gospel, we have a conversation about how the Lord is speaking to us and inviting us to respond through our actions. Members may work together on service projects to bring God’s Mercy to those in need.
Thursdays after Eucharistic Adoration from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Fahey Parish Center
