Young Adult Winter Retreat Tackles Topics About Living with Faith and Courage

Set in the lovely landscape of Wisconsin lake country, St. Benedict’s Abbey was an ideal host for the Saint Clement Young Adult Community as they embarked on their annual winter retreat. The theme for this year’s retreat was “Be Bold: Living with Faith and Courage,” and many participants jumped at the chance to get out of the city and recharge.

“That weekend was everything I needed it to be and more,” said parishioner Grace Ahlering. “A good getaway, time to refocus my faith, and an opportunity to make some great friends."

Saint Clement Joined Together for a Successful Second Annual Christmas Dinner for the Homeless

Our Saint Clement community came together this holiday season to host our Second Annual Christmas Dinner for the Homeless. We served 123 guests in Centennial Hall on December 28!

Parishioners were ready to greet guests who arrive early for dinner with hot chocolate, a conversation, and a smile. Guests were welcomed where they were personally greeted again and were shown where to sit and relax in the warmth of the cafeteria.

Saint Clement Generosity Shines in Jesse Tree Giving

11th Annual Service Day Brings Faith and Service to Chicago

On a sunny, beautiful morning, hundreds of parishioners came to the church, eager and willing to give of themselves in service. Our 11th annual Service Day, held Saturday, April 23, included more than 445 parishioner volunteers at 27 sites across the city, ranging from parishes to homeless shelters, youth centers to homes for the disabled, schools and more. Projects completed included painting, cleaning, sorting, gardening, and repacking food.
